When I meditate (mainly for mindfulness), I do focus on the breath but at the same time I can see the random thoughts and images in my mind. Am I focusing on the breathe correctly or not?

You’ll never be able to fully stop random thoughts from coming into mind while meditating. Brains don’t just stop on a dime. When working with an object, breath is an object, practice and deepening is the order of the day. It’s not the wandering you want to stop, it’s the noticing of the wandering yo
