What would you do if God kept creating parenthetical mystery dispensations and the tribulation never began?

Question very hard my own beliefs and whether they are actually workable.

I believe in God and in the ultimate purpose of all events. However, I would never decide that the reasons I believe God acts are the actual reasons unless He tells me that’s what they are.

If God kept messing with my sense of reality, as has actually happened to me in the past, I would start looking for where it seems like my conception of reality is wrong. It’s the simplest thing in the world when you get real about it, but not easy to give up your beliefs to match what God intends.

If you’re expecting punishment and God refuses to deliver, the obvious conclusion is that you don’t deserve it, at least not yet. You need to keep exploring the aspect of reality that God put you there to experience, then your decisions and epiphanies regarding that will determine punishment or reward in service of your ever-evolving discovery of self.
