Why are there "spirits" around me, and what does a "bad spirit" want from me?

Spirits surround us, thousands to hundreds of thousands at any given time. They form a huge part of our spiritual structure. Many of our thoughts originate with the spirits surrounding us. They want the same thing we want, experiences they like. Our minds are like immense palaces, our conscious awareness and thoughts are like dictates from the monarch. The spirits are the courtiers we bounce thoughts off of and help us with things we just don’t have the time to consider.

This is how we can seemingly have opinions on things we’ve never experienced before. These spirits have been around a lot longer than we have, there’s amazing diversity in what they think. They form a society and hierarchy and compete for our attention. And just like a real king, we’re mostly unaware of our subjects.

“Bad” spirits simply want things that run counter to our taught morals.
