Is it true that some people are able to have conversations with God? How do they do it?

Sure. Some 8 years ago I was working on psychic skills using a spirit guide. I was leaning heavily on the muscle test as our medium. I used this method. One thing we would do is I’d take walks around the neighborhood and I’d get prodded, there was something out there in the neighborhood that I was to notice. I looked around and found it, and confirmed with the muscle test.

My confidence and understanding of how the test and the spirit guide worked improved quickly. I started to get interested in having the guide just take over my body. The most interesting way I got this to work was to have it control my voice. I could let it literally speak to me, in my own voice. I had a fun discussion with Lucifer that way.

As fun as that it, it’s not a particularly ‘practical’ way to receive divine communications. God is always listening to you, but you have to work to hear God. After a few ‘verbal’ conversations, I started paying close attention to what my thoughts and mental state were like when I was receiving external input. In this way I was able to move the communication outside of my vocal cords and back into my head. This way you can talk to God in a way that people don’t think you’re crazy!

This mechanic, paying real close attention to how I’m feeling and thinking, just got automatic after awhile. I realized that there usually wasn’t much need for communication to happen through words and sentences, because we’re literally sharing a brain space!

Imagine how neat it would be to be able to think directly into someone’s head, and have them think directly into yours. Well this is what happens, all the time, with everyone, we’re just not aware of it. It takes a long, convoluted ‘training’ like I went through in order to trust that channel.

Christians can pray for decades, talking to God while not believing that God is talking back. He is, you just haven’t built up the proper sensitivity and confidence to trust in what’s coming back. Once I’ve come to accept that my entire brain and mind are shared with the Lord, literally everything is God talking to you somehow.

For me, I eventually recognized that the muscle test itself, used like I was using it, was putting a bottleneck on the proceedings, and one day I stopped.
