That really depends on where you want to land on the good/evil continuum. If you can’t choose one or the other, then it’s going to be very difficult to “get anything” out of spirituality. This is because while spirituality can be used for the purpose of material gain, the real point of spirituality is to assist us in discovering what we love.

The universe will grant us virtually anything, so long as it’s in service of discovering our loves. If you have already discovered what you love, then it makes the task of providing you with those loves much much simpler, and making the job of the Lord simpler is how you get the Lord to make you rich and powerful.

You simply have to decide that you want wealth and power, above all else and it’s easy for the Lord to provide. You’ll get nicely slotted into the bucket of people who will do anything to get ahead and the Lord will show you opportunity after opportunity to do so.

Of course, people value what is scarce, and wealth is by definition that which is desirable yet scarce, so most of the opportunities to gain wealth will be at the expense of others, as the easiest way to get it will be to take it from someone who already has it.

Simply realize that you’re comfortable gaining wealth and power in the easiest and most straightforward way, taking it from others, and that’s what the universe will provide.

If you want to be good, to decide to work in concert with others to provide more wealth and power for all, rather than just take it from those who already have it, then you need to be comfortable with the fact that you will create more wealth and power in the world than you will be able to wield directly.

Just as before, once you have decided this, then you’ve made it really super-easy for the Lord to light the way to opportunities to create wealth and power. Some of it you’ll get to hold on to, lots of it you’ll just give away.

Any other major approach just makes it harder for the Lord. Your wishes and loves aren’t easy, they’re complicated. So what happens in each of our lives is we’re constantly tested in various ways to give us an opportunity to clarify them if we can, while we’re here.

What we find ourselves developing love and affection and desire for, the Lord will see that and provide us with the opportunity to explore those. Since wealth and power are only two things out of an entire universe of things that we can like, it’s not very often than it’s super-worthwhile for the Lord to complicate the process.
