It mostly boils down to one thing. Thirsty, sexist bullshit. At best, it’s annoying. At worst, it’s downright dangerous. You’ll get told you can’t do any ‘real’ practice, or that you need a male ‘master’, or dudes who never meditated a day in their lives suddenly turn into teachers with decades of experience.

Misinformation is bad enough when you’re a guy. As a female, you have to deal with actual deception. Guys who are nice to you to you until you make it clear enough you don’t want to sleep with them, then they suddenly grow horns.
