What if a usual person you know told you they were suddenly 'burdened' with the knowledge of God because He made Himself so/too clear to them and they're now depressed that so many others don't believe and yet feel blessed & comforted beyond belief?

Oh yeah. Been there, got the t-shirt.

Mysticism, talking to God, developing belief, these things are not rare. There are billions of people in the world, I’d guess the number of people God’s revealed Himself to are in the hundreds of millions. Not even close to rare. At least one out of a hundred, probably more. This means that every single person out there has met dozens of people who have had the Presence of God revealed to them.

You’re highly unlikely to recognize these people, even if it’s happened to you. Why? Because of those other 99% of people who haven’t. It’s just, well, annoying to bring the topic up. The discussion is driven by disbelief and not belief. And disbelief creates the same questions over and over and over again, that have the same answers but don’t dispel the disbelief.

I could make a little “God FAQ”, anybody who believes and has felt the presence could. It’s useless and pointless, because the answers to the same questions aren’t of any use to anyone who doesn’t already believe. Opening your heart to the deity, allowing the possibility, respecting God and not expecting Him to just drop millions into your lap, well, some people are wired for it and most people aren’t.

That’s where the depression comes from. It just gets so predictable. So a lot of people who believe only share to people that seem receptive.

And that’s just how it is.
