Should I learn Ruby on Rails 2017 to start a startup?

You should learn Rails. Yes there are still jobs. Yes Rails is excellent for startup prototyping and MVPing. You’re gonna get a lot of silly devs who get faddish about technologies. Don’t listen to them. Rails is only going to get better over time.
