Are relationship dynamics based on fact or opinion?

A relationship is like a little kingdom in the two people involved are king and queen. They determine the rules, nobody else does it for them. They can sit around and discuss the idea of justice with other kings and queens, but there’s no body of law or philosophy or ethics or morals worth the name that can really give any kind of structure to a relationship.

Good thing too, because if there was, relationships wouldn’t be so fulfilling and fun. Think about it, we live under all manner of rules and laws and strictures and morals. Wouldn’t it be great to get away from all that and build something of your own?

You used to have to literally build your own house on unclaimed land out in the middle of nowhere in order to carve out your own piece of the world. Now you can just find someone and build a relationship with them. Decide what the rules and goals are, and work together to achieve them.

Conflict does present a problem. But everything there is to learn about it you learned in kindergarten. Any children’s show will teach you how to navigate it. Hint: it’s not about who is right and who is wrong.
