How would life on earth change if God were categorically disproved?

Evolution was supposed to have done that. It did not stop people from thinking spiritually and pursuing their religion. I can’t imagine any disproof stronger than evolution so your purported proof would completely upend my worldview.

But that’s just me. Most people? They’d just ignore your categorical disproof and keep on doing what they do.

Science has these days been moving in the opposite direction with the hypothesis that matter could be conscious. If matter is conscious that leaves a gaping Grand Canyon sized gap for God to live in.
