How do I justify not having a girlfriend?

The easiest way to answer this question is the simple, “haven’t found the right one yet.” Then change the subject. You don’t have to let a conversation dwell on a topic you’re not interested in talking about. Also, don’t feel like you have to justify everything to everybody.

Wait until you trust somebody before you open up with that kind of information.
