How hard does Tim Ferriss of the four hour workweek works?

My understanding is that Tim works really, really, really hard. He’s just wired that way. In The Four Hour Workweek, he describes working 80+ hour weeks for months, and then finally burning out. Not many of us could sustain that pace for more than a few weeks or so.

Tim picked the title for his first book based on audience testing. He did not select it himself and just went with what the data showed was the best choice. It’s more a reflection on his audience than on what Tim does personally.

Naturally his next books needed to be positioned against the first one.
