Every time my boyfriend and I get into a fight (which he starts by the way), he threatens to kick me out, or he does kick me out, and I live two hours away. Is this OK?

It sounds to me like he’s really immature and isn’t ready for a serious relationship. Mature adults temper their anger and don’t make stupid demands.

What I would do in this situation is to refuse to go over to his house unless he promises not to kick you out. If he promises and then kicks you out anyway, that’s very good grounds for a breakup.

If you can raise awareness of this pattern of his, he may not be aware of it, then he might be able to work on it. But I wouldn’t hold my breath and it might be time to change boyfriends.
