Morals don’t come from nowhere. My tag, Atheism is just another branch of Christianity, refers to the values, morals, and cultures and such that atheists take with them when they kick Jesus to the curb. Atheist morals are just Christian morals by another name.
That is, the atheists that grew up in Christian homes. The ones that grew up in Jewish homes keep Jewish morals. But the Jews get this one right in that they consider themselves both a religion and an ethnicity. So it’s easier for someone to call themselves both Jewish and atheist.
Suggest this to a ‘Christian’ atheist and they just go apoplectic. No no no! I go by secular humanism. Then why does secular humanism look just like the philosophy of the New Testament, minus the dogma of sin and heaven and hell, something Christians have been moving away from for 200 years? (pay no attention to fundamentalism, that’s an extremely new phenomenon)
