What do guys think when a girl firstly follow them on social media?

If it’s a girl I know and am interested in, I get a little excited. But because I’ve been in this boat before, I’ve realized that the chances of actually dating someone over social media is slim. I need regular physical interaction to be able to create an emotional connection.

If a girl makes it difficult for me to see her in person and wants to instead build that connection over text or social media, they’re instantly relegated to the pile of women I’ll only hit up when I’ve got literally nothing going on. I just don’t like interacting only through text. It’s easier for me to just go find someone new at a bar or whatever than it is to fan an old flame.
