Why might a guy read messages but not respond? It’s been 5 days. By the way, he is a doctor and works full-time. Is he not interested anymore?

It’s probable that he’s not interested anymore, if he ever was in the first place. He’s probably got high standards that you failed to meet for whatever reason. If you ever see him again, you need to not let him leave until you’re on the same page about what he wants.

If he’s just busy, then the right move is to slowly taper off the volume of communication. Nobody wants to feel like they’re drowning in text messages, but if you go cold turkey then he’ll forget about you.

Give it a three day break then hit him up again. If he still ignores you then he’s probably not interested.
