Create distance between you by not calling or texting. If you pass each other, be cordial, but not friendly. Basically pretend she’s a (very) casual acquaintance. If she strikes up a conversation with you, don’t assume it’s going to make you two any closer, don’t be rude, but don’t go seeking out deeper meaning in anything she does.

It’s a difficult balance for a lot of people to strike, so often times the solution becomes cutting off contact completely.
