How do you keep from getting your hopes up when you meet someone new (date, love)?

Not a problem worth solving honestly. The more I try to get rid of infatuation, the less I actually feel for the other person. It’s not fun to not be infatuated.

Embrace it. Realize that it’s all in your head, but enjoy the feelings anyway. It’s what they call “happy go lucky,” someone that falls into and out of love easily.

I’ve taken to looking for weird irrational infatuated frames of mind and holding on to them while interacting with lovely women. Fun times.
