I’m in the same boat, in love with a girl whose not really ready for a relationship with me yet. I’m open for a non-committal relationship but can’t dive in. Still trying to get all the mental ‘furniture’ right for what right now would feel like an affair. If a girl got too attached to me, I’d have to let her down the same way yours is letting you down.

You never really meet someone in a vacuum. There’s always going to be someone she’s holding on to. Just be patient and accommodating and that someone she’s holding on to might just be you one day.
