Do you think a guy should continue to 'entertain' text messages from a girl that likes him but he does not like her?

Women are generally much looser about the friend / more-than-friend boundary than men are. So you really don’t have to worry about sending the wrong message here. Not returning her texts basically cuts her out of your life and is a fairly anti-social thing to do to someone. If you can be boring enough to get her to move on to someone else, that’s better than not returning texts at all.

Why not try to make a friend?
