What is a tactful way to tell a website CEO that his site is junky looking and annoying?

I’d just pass on your impressions and frame it as feedback. A CEO is always going to want honest feedback, this means you can turn off your filter and just open up about how his site makes you feel.

He may or may not actually change the site, but the thing about running a business is, you can’t afford to completely ignore feedback. If you get these impressions from his site, and you care enough to actually tell him about it, you can’t be the only one.

The problem is, the things you’re complaining about are common enough practice that you can bet he’d lose money if he changed them. A business owner is going to choose profits over feelings every time, that’s what being in business means.
