Spirituality: When an extradimensional entity communicates with a person doing meditation, how is he/she able to receive the message beyond the physical dimension? How is the message converted into the language he/she is familiar with? Any books?

Oh this is a fun question. There are lots of layers. I’ll try to keep it relatively short.

The first thing that must be borne in mind is that sensory input is only a smallish fraction of brain activity, and that not the brain is not deterministically bound to respond to sensory input the same way each time. Life would be very very dull if this were the case and we certainly wouldn’t be able to ask questions why this is.

Brain activity can sprout up out of nowhere for any reason at all, and if you meditate in this direction you’ll eventually come across the ‘fog’ that all thought emerges from. In order to sense this fog you must be relatively disconnected from sensory input, sight and sound and touch just get in the way when you want to find it. The fog is a roiling chaos of feelings and concerns and worries, if one can imagine it, it’s certainly arose in the fog, more times than you can possibly fathom.

The only reason you don’t sense it all the time is because the brain only selects parts of the fog that it deems relevant somehow. While it’s hard to see what the fog is doing as ‘you’, it’s easy to see how the patterns behind what the mind selects as relevant are crucial to your identity. The fog is merely unconnected, undirected brain activity, it actually doesn’t even have any form at all until the mind selects it and applies its pattern-matching magic to it in order to turn it into thought.

This “pattern-matching” has many components, more than it’s worth trying to exhaustively enumerate. Much of it engages the same ‘machinery’ that the senses go through in order for you to understand what you see. Sensory input, similarly to the fog, is also selectively brought to awareness, not all of it is known. This is crucial to a person’s sense of self. Without separation, you can’t conduct yourself as an individual and death would result shortly, if only by lack of willingness to do basic things like eat and drink water.

The way extra-sensory perception works is through repeated trance states where one focuses on pulling straight from the fog. Normally the fog only contributes towards things like gut feeling. The limbic system exists separately from the cognitive mind and most of the time, the fog is locked up there.

Quieting the senses and cognitive mind allows the fog to express itself through the channels the cognitive mind usually selfishly keeps to itself. This is how the fog expresses itself verbally. It uses the same brain structures that the conscious cognitive mind uses. It is a skill that must be actively investigated and developed through meditative trance.

Non-physical beings have no interest in physical matters and so communicate with us by directly manipulating the fog. The fog directly creates dreams when you are asleep, the brain can conjure up experience with absolutely no sensory input at all. So it’s the same sort of deal as dreaming. Random thoughts, feelings, smells and sounds even, all conspire to create the sense that you are communicating with something not physical.

How? How does a spirit know what to manipulate and how in order to talk to you through you? An intellectually rigorous answer is, of course, impossible. But if you develop these senses eventually you start to encounter unexplainable physical phenomena, usually orienting around your sense of reality.

Your sense of reality is fed into with the fog, with your sense of self, with the physical senses, all these things. It’s more than just the fog, the fog is an important part of what makes you you, but the rest of you is important too. Spiritual reality doesn’t just issue forth from the fog, it also issues from the senses too.

Eventually, if you do this long enough, you learn to recognize the fingerprints of Spirit everywhere. It creates a logic that’s just deep enough to tantalize and draws you through little adventures. After decades, you won’t be satisfied any more with ‘mere’ trance. You’ll want physical confirmation of what you’re being shown. And that confirmation will manifest, the world melds itself around your vision of how it should be, against all reason for why it shouldn’t.

The messages, first delivered through the fog, because you finally heard the call to listen and did the work to develop the capability to, then start to manifest through the senses, then eventually the Presence makes itself known.

The Presence is aware of all of you, it always was, you just weren’t in the position to comprehend it. Once I wrapped my head around it, I realized I could share my thoughts themselves with it. No longer do I need to dive into trance, I can simply recognize certain thoughts as coming from me or from something else. At that point I can point my mind at the fog for further communications. I don’t need to go into trance, I’ve spent hundreds of hours in trance developing the skill, it just comes.

There are ‘organizing principles’ behind these communications. They typically revolve around preserving your sense of self. You need to discover and practice in order to learn how to deepen your connection without harming self-conception.

There is much much much more I haven’t touched on, but this should suffice to answer the question. The fog is the mechanism, filtered through the rest of the brain. Anybody who tries to tell you something different, well, ask yourself how their claims manifested on a physical level and you’ll obtain the same conclusions I did.
