The answer to this is no. If you didn’t want a baby, you shouldn’t have had unprotected sex with the woman in the first place.
Yes, society does not give men a whole lot of good options for birth control. Yes, women can and do sabotage men by doing things like poking holes in condoms.
But if you do a little research, you can arrive at a strategy that both retains the pleasurability of sex and makes it a lot safer.
The first and most important rule of action for a man who wants to retain control over his life is to “don’t stick your dick in crazy.” Use your goddamned head. Non-crazy chicks do not poke holes in condoms.
Second, you need a form of birth control that you can control yourself. I recommend lambskin condoms. The biggest problem with latex is that latex doesn’t conduct heat. Lambskin does not have this problem. It’s more expensive, but if you can’t afford to have sex, then don’t have vaginal penetrative sex. Stick to less-dangerous forms of sex. Not that anal is risk-free, but pregnancy is a far greater risk than STDs.
I believe that lambskin is just as safe as latex. The methods they use to test condoms in the FDA don’t actually test whether they prevent infections. They focus more on specific mechanical properties of the material rather than on actual transmission. When tests were devised to really test them the FDA wasn’t interested.
