Academically speaking, how is the structure of atheistic beliefs?

Is it really? Are you sure about that? Maybe you’re just reading something into it that’s not there?

I’ll tell you what has a rich culture and history: Christianity. 2000 years of it. Atheism is defined in terms of monotheistic ideas. The history and culture of atheism is the history and culture of monotheistic religions with Gods. You can’t separate the two.

What are you hoping to find here? Something more than the illogic of disaffected youth?

I am, technically, one of these atheists. I don’t believe in God. My brain just doesn’t work that way. But I readily admire and accept the beauty and grace of religion. And accept its traditions as my traditions. And its values as my values.

Atheists do too. They’re just too stubborn to realize it.
