Jesus is the bedrock upon which Western Civilization was built. There’s nothing special about the elements of the myths themselves, that’s not the point. Jesus is ours, and Krishna, Buddha, Rama, et. al. are theirs.

You might as well say to your mother, “oh, well Bobby’s mom down the road bakes better cookies than you do, so I’m going to go be her son from now on.”
