Can you be your own god and still be atheist?

People should just stop using the word “atheist.” It’s a silly word that doesn’t really describe anything. There is no rigorous definition of atheism that’s doesn’t also describe what’s referred to by the better “materialism.” Materialists believe that nothing that is not physical exists or is real. But ‘atheism’ rolls off the tongue really nicely so whatever.

Really amusing for a subculture that claims itself as more rational.
