Who do I choose for a better boyfriend, my current long distance bf, or my close distance ex?

You can’t have a long distance boyfriend. What you have is a relationship that is on hold until you can see each other regularly again. Relationships satisfy needs. They have rules. People follow the rules because their needs are getting satisfied. If they’re not getting satisfied, then they’re not going to be enthusiastic about following the rules.

My advice to you is to break up with the long distance boyfriend because there’s a good chance he’s going to cheat on you or you on him. My girlfriend has a friend whose husband and kids are all the way on the other side of the ocean. The way she’s acting, it’s only a matter of time before she cheats on him.

Do yourself a favor and don’t put your boyfriend in a position where he feels like he’s justified in cheating on you.
