Is it wrong to want a guy to not "get to know" other women when you both have expressed feelings for each other?

As I’m wont to say on here, relationships have rules and roles. Roles are there to help the other person understand the positive things you need out of the relationship, (a strong manly man; a tiger in the bedroom) and rules are there to help guide the other person to not do the negative things that put the relationship in jeopardy.

Fidelity is a common rule people like to set in relationships, but it’s one that often asked of prematurely. If you guys haven’t established the roles you need from each other yet, then you’re essentially asking them to change their behavior to suit you before you are able to fulfill what he wants out of you.

Do yourself and your relationship a favor and don’t ask for complete fidelity until, at minimum, after you’ve had sex. You can ask him to not have sex with other girls, but don’t ask him to not even talk to other people.
