Shouldn't Ruby on Rails include a client-side data-binding template framework?

I’m sure Rails would love to include one, but the Javascript community has yet to get it’s shit together enough to standardize on anything.

I do think the asset pipeline should probably be easily replaceable with other pipelines like Webpack. Plenty of Javascript libs I can’t easily add to my project.

Yes, it needs more work. But including one as part of Rails is premature at this point.
