I am scared of changing my life and have an irrational fear that it could become worse if I do anything. How can I find the strength to change anyway?

Start small and work your way up to the bigger changes. Say you decide to get in shape. Start with ten pushups and work up to doing pushups every morning. Once you start the ball rolling, it tends to pick up steam all by itself.

You could also ask one of your parents for help.
