Have anyone here ever experienced the spiritual realm? What did you see and what was it like?

The spiritual realm is the realm not governed by physical laws. Anything that is not physical, is spiritual. The spiritual realm is one completely divorced from physical laws. When you dream, you are existing spiritually, the entirety of your experiences, from perception all the way to thought and learning, is wholly spiritual. The ‘problem’ with this is that you’re generally not self-aware when you’re dreaming.

It is possible to have fully-spiritual experiences while you are still awake. The process of doing this is what is generally called trance meditation. In trance meditation, a state of mind not driven by physical perception is created through the progressive removal of physical influences. You essentially ‘train’ your mind to stop paying attention to the senses.

I have done quite a bit of this trance meditation. It is possible to explore spatial places in meditation that are not physical and so are not governed by physical laws. You can fly through them, manifest your will directly.

An important concept to keep in mind when doing this is to consider just how much of the reality created is self-imposed. You want to have a generous mix of self-imposed reality vs reality coming in from outside the self. Note that if all of the experience is coming from ‘outside’ then you’re essentially dreaming.

Another important principle to beat into your brain is that there are no limits whatsoever when exploring spiritual reality. You can talk to God, or Jesus, or dead relatives or even famous people. It’s as real as you believe it to be, so if you think it’s 100% real, then you can rest assured that it is.

That said, it’s also important to have a decent sense of grounding. Believing everything you see in the spiritual realm is 100% real is the very definition of psychosis. If a spirit tells you to jump in front of a train will you do it? One time a spirit directed me to pinch a girl’s butt in a bar and I got hit in the face by her boyfriend as a result. Not all spirits are benign.

I have a ‘castle’ in the spiritual realm that I can vaguely see whenever I need to think spatially in trance. My queen lives there, along with a staff. It’s somewhat inspired by the insipid first movie adaptation of Percy Jackson, I really liked the design of Percy’s lake retreat:

Except mine is made of stone for a more medieval feel, with silver and gold accents everywhere. It also has more interior space and underground floors. What I like is the open architecture and the proximity to water. I have a large, opulent throne I sit on and plush tapestries everywhere. It’s a bit of a work in progress, it doesn’t really need to set in ‘stone’ until I die and go live there for eternity, and even then it doesn’t have to stay 100% solid, these things aren’t physical.
