Something that seems to always be forgotten when communicating ones feelings is touch. The words you want me to give you are far less important than the feelings you convey, and feelings are not well-conveyed at all by mere words.

In fact, you don’t really have to say anything at all, just taking his hand into yours can be enough to say everything you need to say. Of course, a relationship can’t be maintained on feelings alone, you need to discover and fulfill rules and roles, but that’s in the future, and this is today.

Being that you’re running out of time, I wouldn’t try anything fancy. At this point, I’d just say ‘hi’. If he seems like he has nothing to say, then you should ask him to do something for you. A good go-to to use is walking you to class. In the interim between crushing and a relationship, the best things to do are things that build up regularity and familiarity.

If you can get him to walk you to your third or whichever class every day, that’s perfect.
