My son went to a friend’s house and had access to a gun and a crossbow. What do I do, other than not let him go over to this house?

Take him to a range and enroll in a gun safety class. If you haven’t had one yet yourself, go with him. If he’s going to be around guns he might as well learn how to not hurt himself with them.
