Why is it the better I dress, the more guys "shut down?"

Approachability for guys is directly related to self-esteem. If a guy feels inadequate looking at you, he won’t approach. You should grunge it up while still looking cute. You’ll be swimming in male attention.

I learned a very important principle a few years ago. If you want someone to pay attention to something, you need to elevate it and put it on a stage and present it for people to see. But you need to do it in the appropriate venue where there are people there who can appreciate it.

And then you need to build in ways to get what you want to get from those people you’re performing for. You’re the hunter here. Once you have them where you want them, move in for the kill. Don’t expect your quarry to suddenly start chasing you.

If you’re already intimidating guys with what you’re wearing, doubling down on it is only going to intimidate them more.
