The software market is moving away from freelancers and towards consulting firms like the one I work with. That’s what I would focus on if I were you. My firm would be happy to talk to you.

I could do what you are asking but you’d probably balk at my asking price. I make over a hundred thousand dollars a year, have health care, an office, and everything. To make it competitive for me, you’d have to be able to pony up somewhere in the neighborhood of 15–20k per month for your personal pet project. And that’s just for one developer.

The scope of your project isn’t such that it could be handled part time.

A consulting firm keeps enough developers on hand and enough lucrative projects to put them on so that you can just deal with an hourly project rate or a negotiated flat fee.
