Is it a bad idea to tell someone you really like them (maybe even love) after you move away?

What are you hoping to get out of it? You didn’t have the courage to do it before you moved away, doing it after only reminds them of it.

Love is built on top of long periods of time spent with another person. Geographical separation makes that all but impossible. People fool themselves into thinking they can have a long distance relationship but really it’s not possible. All you’re doing is deciding to not see other people.
