Am I considered a programmer if I am a web developer?

I consider you a programmer.

Frankly, I find the web to be just as valid a domain as any other. In fact, if I were looking to hire someone to do coding, I’d prefer someone that cut his teeth on the web and got good at it over any CS grad. Making websites properly is way harder than people give it credit for.
