How do I make sure that what I'm feeling for my best friend is just platonic love and not turning into romantic?

Cuddling is something you do with a boyfriend if you have one, because that sort of interaction is bound to generate romantic feelings. If you want to keep your best friend and your boyfriend, the only thing to do is to stop cuddling with your best friend and stop doing anything that would lead to romance.

I understand that he’s nice and that you feel more comfortable with him than you do with your boyfriend. That is romance. What that means is that you should be dating your best friend. You need to go down that road so you see where it leads before you’ll be able to stop feeling romance towards him.

If you keep up this weird and illogical arrangement, then you’re going to eventually lose the boyfriend, and then your best friend will find a girlfriend himself and stop messing around with you and you’ll be all alone.

You’re going to have to pick one or the other.
