Can a 30-year-old see the faults in a 20-year-old like a 20-year-old can see the faults in a 10-year-old?

Yes, but only up to an extent. The thing about adulthood is that life is much more complicated and so it’s much easier to make mistakes in perception. So much of what we see is limited to our own experience, if someone doesn’t fit what we’ve experienced, then we tend to shoehorn it into a form that fits what we know. This is called projection.

As you get older, experience mostly makes you realize just how small you really are. So while you can see faults in 20 year olds, the difference between 30 year old you and 20 year old you is less than the difference between 20 year old you and 10 year old you.
