Am I a bigot for believing that religion vandalizes young minds?

Yes, your beliefs are bigoted.

Religion brings far, far more joy to people’s lives than misery. I know many, many wonderful believers. The only way in which you could possibly believe that religion is a net negative influence on society is if you live in a filter bubble that’s more divorced from reality than it isn’t.

Religion works best when you start it very young. If you wait too long then religion will not take root and so you are effectively saying we should get rid of religion.

You don’t agree with religion, fine. Please dispense with the theatrics and overblown rhetoric. Comparing religious indoctrination to child abuse is ridiculous. Your politics does not belong in the homes of people who don’t share those politics.
