Go for a walk. While you’re on this walk do a moving meditation. Breathe in for four steps, hold for four steps, breathe out for four steps, then hold for four steps and repeat. Breathe deeply, fill your belly with air completely before the chest area.
People underestimate the spiritual power of both movement and breath. Even very spiritual people who spend a lot of time in meditative states don’t always remember to move and breathe.
If you get in the habit now, 10 years later you’ll look back on yourself and wax nostalgic about those times when you actually could do all this stuff, rather than just do the spiritual stuff without all that fussy physical nonsense. But you’ll never get to that point unless you can tune the body.
