What does God mean?

God is whatever you believe he is. God has no business in or interest in assuming a form, and is happy just letting people define him. If you want him to not exist, he'll happily go away for you. If you want him to give you signs that he’s there and is listening, a little bit of meditation and/or prayer will allow him to sort you out.

The one thing God won't do is interfere with other people’s need to also define him. He'll burn a bush for you, but he won't make it totally 100% obvious that it was him that did it. God operates on belief and the more you can accept that, the better you'll understand him.
