Should I cut this girl out of my life? (Please see comments)

You should not cut anyone out of your life just because the romance doesn’t work.

What really matters is whether she’s a good friend or not. That she had no interest in you when you moved away seems to indicate that she’s not.

If she’s not a good friend, and not a good lover, slot her into the ‘acquaintance’ category, and keep your distance. You don’t want this woman to mess up your dating life. She will if she’s just hanging around you, not respecting your need for distance.

You need to be able to distance yourself emotionally from someone without cutting them out of your life. If you can’t do this, then relationships become a lot harder to navigate. Cutting them out is an easy fix, but does nothing to help you develop your emotional fortitude.
