Am I wrong to see girls who sleep around as less attractive?

No, I don’t think you’re wrong to think that. Guys who sleep around are also less attractive. The older I get, the more I see ‘weird’ sexualities such as promiscuity as indicators of neuroses. I used to think that girls that slept around were hot, that they’d be better in bed. Instead the ones that I actually got to know were actually just crazy.

If you’re young and in college, I say go nuts. That’s the time to explore and have fun. I wouldn’t go so far as to say you should sleep around, but if you’re going to do it, that’s when you should. Ideally you’ll do it responsibly so you don’t end up with a kid or an abortion. But once you’re out of college you should try to grow up. Relationships are hard, and promiscuity only makes them harder.

The bar that I go to, has a bunch of customers and regulars who are all part of the same social circle. I’m not a part of it, but I know all of them. I’m better friends with one of them, whenever we’re hanging out, she dishes out the latest gossip on who’s sleeping with who, just to keep me up to date. They all seem like a bunch of children and I’m glad I don’t have that in my life.

You’re probably going to live a long time, ask yourself who do you want to spend all that time with. Alone, with a rotating cast of fuck buddies? Or with a wonderful family? Promiscuity leads to Door #1, focusing on a relationship leads to Door #2. As I move into my mid-thirties, all I find myself caring about is starting a family.
