If you are madly in love with someone that doesn't love you, are you better off cutting all contact?

I'm gonna say no. If you can't learn to respect other people's decisions, then you're better served learning how to do so than just jumping into the next thing. Because your problems probably aren't going to go away just cuz you started talking to someone else.

You might as well get some deeper lessons from this one because it's super easy to just go years without learning anything love-wise.

There's a reason you feel madly in love with someone who doesn't love you back. Figure that out before you do it again. Love, real love, is mutual.
