Why does my boyfriend never give me flowers since the first date?

Flowers are actually pretty expensive. That may be why he’s reluctant to get them for you on a regular basis. I don’t know how old you guys are but that’s going to play a big role. But if he’s making plenty of money then he should be willing to spend it on stuff that you want like that.

I don’t do flowers but I have on occasion bought her stuff like massage cards and every now and again I’ll pay for her to get her nails done. I don’t do it all the time but enough to let her know I still care for her. If she expressed a desire for flowers I’d get those for her too.

It sounds like this guy needs a lesson in romance. Dump him and find someone who will treat you right. Because it really does sound like to me like he’s subconsciously looking at you as someone to fill a role rather than as an actual person.

Sadly guys like that don’t take breakups well. Good luck sister!
