What do software developers/engineers work on in their everyday job life?

I work as part of a team to maintain and extend a website. We have three full stack web developers, including me, a QA technician, and a project manager. There is also a mobile team that uses the API that we maintain.

Generally, on good days I spend my days writing, reading, cleaning up, or deleting code. On bad days I troubleshoot code. When we get closer to a release, we do regression tests, which is using the app to make sure none of our new changes breaks existing functionality.
