Am I too young at 17 years old to make my own start up?

Your intended business is not a startup. A startup is a tech-oriented business that is designed to grow extremely quickly. Your question is better directed towards your political contacts. Politics is the quintessential ‘who you know’ industry.

I do know that starting a business takes a lot of time and effort, effort that is better directed towards completing your diploma / degree. You have more of it compared to the average person, but it’s not unlimited. My advice to you would be to keep building your network and stay politically active while you’re in school. You didn’t mention quitting school, but if you’re considering that, I feel it would be a huge mistake.
