Why can't obese women find love?

You put one question as the topic, and then a completely different one in the followup description.

Anybody can find love, even fat people. Just because some men are repulsed by fat women, doesn’t mean all of them are. So the first question is based on a false premise.

Your second question is more interesting, and is probably the question you really want the answer to. Sure, obesity isn’t an attractive quality, but it’s not in the same category as other unattractive qualities, such as smoking. I can be attracted to someone who smokes, I just refuse to date a smoker. I can’t even be attracted to someone who is obese.

My guess is that ultimately the answer is prewired into our brains by evolution. Doesn’t make the preference set in stone for all of us, events can cause us to change what we find attractive in others.

What I don’t buy is the idea that this sort of thing is cultural. There are a certain set of traits that allowed prehistoric humans to survive better in the environment, we find those traits sexually attractive because then those people will have babies that better survive that environment.
