I want someone to do something for me but I have nothing to offer. I don't want to threaten him because I can't risk him telling anyone. What do I do?

Find out what they value. Then acquire the thing that they value. Then offer to trade what you want for what they want. Just because you think you have nothing to offer now doesn’t mean you’ll always have nothing.
